The One Week Multi-Disciplinary International Conference on “Indian Knowledge Systems and Contemporary Social Challenges: Indigenous Wisdom for Sustainable and Inclusive Global Development” provides an international platform for academicians, researchers, scholars, students, professionals and industry experts to explore the relevance of indigenous knowledge in addressing contemporary social, economic, technological, environmental and developmental challenges.
The conference seeks to promote interdisciplinary scholarly exchange and international research collaboration by connecting traditional Indian knowledge with contemporary academic perspectives and emerging global challenges.
The broader conference is being organised from 21–28 August 2026, with St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science for Women hosting one of the conference days as an Academic and Knowledge Partner.
